Some Information

That Clients Want to Know

Admin Stuff

If this is your first time working with a professional photographer, you probably have a number of questions now that you have chosen me as your photographer.  Don't worry, I have heard them all so here are some of the more common paperwork questions.

First, you will provide me with some basic information about your plans during a recent phone call or by filling in our new client form.  (For weddings, click here and for portraits, go here. Commercial clients -- just give us a call at 705-999-3154.)

Second, you will receive a customized quotation for your review.  You accept the quote and e-money tranfer your non-refundable retainer.  Your contract will arrive shortly after your retainer clears.  As soon as all of us have electronically signed the contract -- then, you are BOOKED into our shooting schedule.

For Weddings

  • We will chat a lot between the actual booking and your wedding day
  • I will grab my camera and shoot your engagement session (usually shortly after booking)
  • I will send along our Wedding Day Planning Guide to you
  • About a month before your wedding, we will go over the family photo list and timeline for the actual day
  • The balance of my service fee is payable at that time
  • I am available for questions or assistance throughout the planning process by e-mail, phone, text or SKYPE

For Portrait Sessions

  • We will chat a lot between the actual booking and your lifetyle session
  • I will send along our What to Wear magazine to you
  • About a week before your session, we will go over the family groupings list and finalize the shooting time
  • The balance of your service fee is due at this time
  • I will grab my camera and meet you on location
  • Get in touch by e-mail, phone, text or SKYPE if you have any questions about your shoot
