Are you the photographer who will be taking our photos?

Absolutely.  I am the principal photogapher; however, im some cases you will also receive a "second-shooter" photographer who assists me.  A non-shooting assistant is always included.

Can we see all the pictures from one wedding?

I have shot a large number of weddings and have a variety of albums and portfolios for you to view.  I do not assemble the best images as this is completely misleading and does not truly represent my work on your wedding day.

How will you make us look beautiful on our wedding day?

That's easy!  You are always the most beautiful bride and handsomest groom on your wedding day.  I can enhance your stunning good looks with careful posing, lighting and attention to details. 

Do you use an assistant?

Yes.  My technically qualified assistant is included in all packages to ensure that things run smoothly and that I am able to concentrate completely on you and passionately capturing your day.

How do you keep our pictures safe?

I have complete backup equipment for each camera that I use to shoot your wedding.  The use of digital equipment and cards allows me to backup each card into a photobank and then the images are burned to a CD or DVD.  Once I am back in the studio, your entire wedding is saved to three hard drives and then burned to two DVDs - one which is securely stored off-site.

What are your principles on privacy?

I am absolutely clear that none of your personal information is shared or passed on to any third parties.  Your personal details are safe with me and should you decide to join the NightinGail family of clients, the details are kept for us to serve you better.  Should you decide (regretably) that I am not the photogapher for you, all personal details related to the consultation are destroyed.

What happens if you are ill?

First, I would have to be extremely ill to keep me away from your wedding.  If, in the case of dire emergency, I have relationships with several other professional photographers who are prepared to step into that role to ensure that your wedding will be photographed in a professional manner with the attention to detail that I would take and that you are expecting from me.  There is no additional cost to you.

How much?

To help you plan your wedding budget, I am please to provide you with our current Package and Price List.  All my wedding coverage prices include attendance on your day, private web gallery, proof album and a CD of 4x6 digitial negatives.

Why do we have to pay a deposit?

From your point of view, it secures your date and I will not accept any more weddings for that day.  It also ensures that the price you have booked by paying the deposit and signing the contract ensures that is the price you will pay in case of any future price increases.

From my point of view, it is necessary because it is a formal contract that gives me your commitment for that day but also because I get several inquiries for the same date; therefore, by receiving a signed contract and deposit, I do not accept any other weddings for your day.
