This year, we are pleased to be shooting in the Cape Coral, Florida area as well as the Caribbean from November 13 – December 18th.

Our 2011 dates are filling up fast with the more popular July and August dates already booked. When we were contacted by Jennifer about the possibility of their wedding being selected to be published by Wedding Bells, we were ecstatic for them and, of course, for NightinGail Photography!

Congratulations again!  We can’t wait to see you when you come back for a visit!

We started off the day at the Best Western Hotel in Newmarket meeting with Stephanie, her maids and family for the bridal prep session. We were actually able to capture a few of Scott while he was getting ready before he had to make a ‘fast’ exit with his boys so we could get Stephanie outside for some fun in the sun.

Their ceremony was performed by one of our favourite officiants, Rev. Steven Ongo, who is just a delight to work with and customizes his ceremonies to suit his clients just as he did for Stephanie & Scott.  If you are looking for an officiant with a phenomenal sense of humour, you need to get in touch with Rev. Steven!

Stephanie & Scott got right into the swing of things and we just had a ball capturing their day. After all, NightinGail is the “photographer for happy people” and we are definitely “passionate about weddings.”  We absolutely adore capturing those intimate moments when our couples don’t think there is a camera within shooting distance… ahaaa.. gotch ya! 

The interior of Kings Riding Golf club is stunning with a lot of nooks, fabulous furniture, colours and decor for creating beautiful wedding images.

My second shooter, Michelle, and I had an interesting experience at this wedding.. we had to be rescued by the matron of honour when our golf cart broke down during the photo shoot out on the links. A first for us, but great fun!

I met Bradley and Meghan just a couple of weeks before their wedding and durimng our initial consultation, it became really apparent that this terrific couple were so much in love with each other and with the great outdoors!  Because of their love of cottage country, they selected to hold their ceremony at the Wigamog Inn which is an absolutely beautiful old country inn.  After the ceremony, we popped down the road to the Willow Beach Cottages for some fun in the sun portraits.  There were so many phenomenal images from their day I have selected just a few of my favourites of this amazing autumn wedding.

Bradley & Meghan chose the Thanksgiving weekend to “get hitched” because they were so very thankful for their families and wanted all to share in their day.

It was an absolutely awesome day that ran the whole gamut of the weather – sunny and warm, overcast and cool, cloudy and cold — throw in some rain, hail and one of the most phenomenal skies with a rainbow during their photo session at the Renwick cottage.

What a wonderful opportunity to photograph this fabulous couple who are so much in love and to be a part of their very special day with all of their family and friends.

It’s been a hectic few weeks but NightinGail Photography would like to congratulate Lesley & Michael who tied the knot on June 20th which turned out to be one of the rainiest wedding days we’ve had in years. They are an absolutely AWESOME couple and fabulous sports and we wish them well as they start off their married life together.

Anna and Bill had a lot of fun with their small, intimate ceremony with just family and a few friends. All in all, NightinGail had a lot of fun with them and here’s just a few of my favourites from their day.

They went off on a wonderful trip to Cyprus and we thoroughly congratulate them on starting our their married life today.

They had a somewhat Victorian-themed wedding with some modern touches. Eve’s favourite font is “Jane Austin.” Eddy & Eve had a few minor adjustments to their album and the final version is now here. We really LOVE this album!!

One of her favourite quotations is from John Milton’s “Paradise Lost.” Eddy wrote Eve a beautiful note which was delivered to her just before the wedding.

In addition, we would like to congratulate Eve on her new position with a legal firm here in Barrie which has resulted in their move into their new home!

Then a last minute quick trip up to Haliburton for a mini relaxing weekend which turned out not to be what we expected. Off on Sunday to visit my Alberta client who had flown in so saw their private venue for their wedding next year. I’m so excited about this rooftop terrace location overlooking Lake Ontario. I simply cannot wait — and congratulations to Jaime & Geoff who will be celebrating their day on July 31, 2010 in Whitby.

Well, this is a first for me. A Monday night wedding which has been planned very quickly by Anna and Bill. Bags are packed, checked and Shiri will be meeting me at the Markham City Hall Wedding Chapel promptly at 5 p.m. Stay tuned…and I’m off shortly

Once again, Shiri (Focus Studios) was my fabulous 2nd shooter and all-round organizer for getting everyone into place for the family photos. Thanks, Shiri. And my husband, Don, came along and did all of the chauffeuring us between the locations – all within 15 minutes of each other .. thanks, Sweetheart!!.
