What is 2nd shooting? In a nutshell, I get to go out and work with another phenomenal photographer and “play”! I get to relax and photograph all of the fun and casual shots that normally my second-shooter captures at a NightinGail wedding or event.
As I was available on February 7th, I was able to go out and have a second-shooting for my regular second shooter (Shiri from Focus Studios) and the couple was really great too!!! Absolutely beautiful day even though it was windy and got quite cold in the evening. I really love shooting at Allen Gardens and I was excited about having the opportunity to photograph at the Rosewater Supper Club (this was a first for me — and a great venue for a smaller affair).
All in all — a great day — and as photographers, we have to roll with the punches like time delays, weather and limo drivers who get lost.
Shiri has given me permission to show you a couple of my favourite shots from the day (actually 4 but there were lots to pick from) … so here are my top 4 – not in any particular order…

The Kiss in Black & White
Thanks, Shiri.. (a great photographer and fabulous graphic designer ).. for asking me to 2nd shoot with you. I’m looking forward to being a second-shooter with you again really soon.
And if you’re looking for a graphic designer who will listen and get it right for you.. call Shiri!
